This engine is equipped with a PT Fuel System and comes with a turbocharger, offering a prime power range from 1085 HP to 1600 HP (809 kW to 1193 kW) and a torque range of 4869 N.m to 6242 N.m.
To cater to diverse needs, the QSK38 series offers three configurations: a turbocharged engine, an engine with a water-air intercooler, and an engine with an air-air intercooler. The model name includes codes to signify these configurations: “T” for a turbocharger, “single A” for a water-air intercooler, and “double A” for an air-air intercooler.
